Is this a repair, or is it time?
Central Texas is hard on roofs. Hail season runs March through June most years; the summer heat works on shingles the rest of the time, and the housing built during the growth waves of the 1990s and 2000s is now reaching the age when original roofs stop holding up. Most homeowners we talk to are somewhere in that story, and the question is usually the same: is this a repair, or is it time?
We answer that honestly. If your roof has years left, we’ll say so, and you can call us when it doesn’t.
Service That Speaks Excellence
Six services across three Central Texas locations. We’d rather do the smallest job that actually solves your problem.
Roof repair
Roof leak repairs are the most common call we get, and most leaks start at a transition rather than in the middle of the roof, so we look first at the flashing around chimneys, valleys, skylights, and pipe boots. That’s usually a repair, not a replacement.
Roof replacement
When shingles have aged out across the whole roof rather than failing in one spot, we do full replacements. That’s also when we look at what’s underneath, because decking and attic ventilation often explain why the last roof didn’t last as long as it should have.
Roof installation
If there’s no existing roof at all, because you’re adding on or building, that’s new roof installation, and it runs on a different schedule.
Storm and hail damage
Hail damage claims are their own kind of work. Impact damage isn’t always visible from the ground, and not all of it is worth involving an insurer over. We document what’s actually up there, hand you the photos, and let you make the call.
Metal roofing
We also install standing-seam roofs and sheet-metal work for homeowners who want something longer-lasting than asphalt.

Where We Work
We run three locations across Central Texas, each with its own listing and its own number. Cedar Park roofing covers the neighborhoods along the Whitestone and Lakeline corridors. Round Rock roofing covers Forest Creek, Teravista, Behrens Ranch, Brushy Creek, and the streets around Old Town.

- Austin roofing is a base of its own rather than a drive down from Williamson County, working out of the Balcones Club Drive location on the northwest side.
- Georgetown sits at the north end of our range and runs on the same schedule as Round Rock.
- Leander is a short run west of Cedar Park, and the communities between all three bases are covered too. If you’re not sure whether you’re in range, call and ask.

What Working With Us Looks Like
Someone gets on your roof, photographs what’s there, and gives you a written scope before any work is scheduled. If a claim is involved, we’ll meet your adjuster at the property and walk the roof with them. We don’t file claims on your behalf.
Most single-family replacements are a one-day tear-off and install. Steeper roofs, or ones that need decking replaced once we open them up, run into a second day. We’ll show you what yours will look like before you commit, and there’s a fuller walkthrough of what to expect if you’d rather read it first.
Where it matters, we’ll talk you through attic ventilation and impact-rated shingles, because both affect how long your next roof lasts, and one of them may affect your insurance premium.
We don't knock doors after storms
We don’t invent damage to sell a job. The Texas Department of Insurance publishes its own guidance on storm claims, and we’d rather you read it than take our word for it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What areas of Central Texas does Atlas Roofing Company serve?
We work out of Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Austin, covering most of Williamson County and the northern Austin metro from those three bases. If your address is on the edge of that, call, and we’ll tell you straight rather than sending someone on a two-hour round trip.
How much does a new roof cost?
It depends on the roof’s size and pitch, the material, and whether the decking underneath needs work once we open it up. We quote in writing after an inspection rather than over the phone, because a phone number is a guess. Our guide to what a roof costs walks through the factors that drive the range.
Do you handle insurance claims?
We work alongside them. We’ll meet your adjuster, walk the roof with them, and provide our documentation, but we don’t file the claim for you, and we won’t tell you a claim exists when it doesn’t. Our hail damage guide covers what the process entails.
How long should a roof last in Central Texas?
Less time than the shingle package suggests, because heat, UV, and hail all shorten it. Attic ventilation makes a bigger difference than most homeowners expect. We go through the numbers by material in our materials guide, and there’s a separate section that explains how long a roof lasts once you account for this climate.
Are you available outside business hours?
The Cedar Park and Round Rock lines are open around the clock. Austin runs 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, so outside those hours, use one of the other two. Active water coming into a house is exactly the kind of call we want at an inconvenient hour, so tell us when you ring, and we’ll prioritize getting it stopped.
Tell us what you're seeing
Call any of the three lines, or contact us and we’ll get someone out. Photographs and a written scope either way, whether or not there’s work to do.
